Annabelle C. Sisk 91 of Springfield joined the choir of angels Monday, January 18, 2016. She was born in Springfield, MO to William K. and Alice McGee Webb on August 27, 1924. Annabelle married Wilson A. Sisk in 1946 and they spent 44 wonderful years together before his passing in 1990. Annabelle enjoyed being a homemaker, wife and mother. She volunteered at the schools of her children and grandchildren. She loved to care for her great-grandchildren as well. Annabelle loved to play golf and was a charter member of the Green Hills Country Club and Golf Course. She was also a member of Schweitzer United Methodist Church.
In addition to her parents and husband, Annabelle was preceded in death by a sister, two brothers, a grandson and a great granddaughter. She is survived by a son, Stuart and a daughter Susan Clemens and her husband David, five grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. She also leaves behind several beloved nieces and nephews.
Annabelle, known by "Mimmi" to her family, never met a stranger and her warmth and generosity of spirit touched many lives. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
A visitation will be held Monday, January 25, 2016 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Klingner-Cope Midtown Chapel, 1635 N. Benton, Springfield. The funeral service will be held at Klingner-Cope at White Chapel on Tuesday, January 26, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. with burial to follow in White Chapel Memorial Gardens, 5234 W. State Highway EE, Springfield, MO.
