Anna Mae Thomas, 94, of Nixa, MO passed away peacefully on Friday, August 26, 2022 at the Springfield Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center. She was born on Sunday, February 12, 1928 in St. Joseph, MO to James P. Cline Sr. and Anna Catherine Starr.

Anna was the oldest of six children and accepted Jesus as her personal savior at a young age in a revival near Strafford. She married George Leroy Thomas on September 14, 1945 in Springfield, MO and to this union four children were born. Anna said she tried to spoil them all. She worked as a hairdresser for many years before going to work and retiring from the Dayco Manufacturing Plant.

Anna was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, one son Billy, one brother Bud, two sisters Catherine and Jeri and one son-in-law Norris Duncan.

She is survived by her three children James Thomas (wife Kaye) of Aldrich, MO, Kathy Duncan of Springfield, MO and Laura Nolen (husband Glen) of Nixa, MO, two brothers Willie Cline (wife Doris) of Springfield, MO and Danny Cline (wife Karen) of Mt. Vernon, MO, one sister-in-law Brenda of Billings, MO and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, friends and family.

A graveside service will be held at 2 PM on Tuesday, August 30, 2022 at the Greenlawn Cemetery in Walnut Grove, MO. Memorial donation can be made in her name to the charity of your choice. Online condolences may be made at www.klingnerfuneralhome.com
