Jo Angelina "Angi" Gianopulos, 66, passed from this earth into Heaven's gates on Friday, December 25, 2020.  She was born on Friday, February 5, 1954 in Columbus, Indiana to Bob Robbins and Barbara Jo King.

Angi married the love of her life, Randy Gianopulos, on May 11, 1974.  They resided in Republic, Missouri the majority of their marriage, but currently lived in Springfield, Missouri.  Angi worked in the banking industry for 40 years, where she obtained a degree from the Institute of Banking, before retiring in 2017 to be a full-time Gigi.  She, along with Randy, attended Parkcrest Assembly of God Church for approximately 37 years.  Angi enjoyed shopping, craft fairs, fast cars – specifically Corvettes, decorating, word games, anything and everything to do with organization and most of all loving on her grandkids.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, her mother and her stepfather Clarence Buddy King.

Angi is survived by her husband, her son Jason Gianopulos and daughter-in-law Pam Gianopulos along with their children Jordyn and Trey Gianopulos; her daughter Jodi Kolbe and son-in-law Jeff Kolbe along with their children Jenika and Jasper Kolbe; her father Bob Robbins and wife Sandy Robbins; Siblings – Anita Bray and family; Gary Robbins and family; Trisha Ward and family; Andy Robbins and family; Katrina Long and family; Matthew McDaniel and family; along with other extended family.

A visitation will be held from 1-2 PM on Tuesday, January 5, 2021 at the Klingner-Cope Family Funeral Home at Rivermonte, 4500 S. Lone Pine Ave., Springfield, MO 65804 with funeral services to follow at 2 PM. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Victory Mission, P.O. Box 2884, Springfield, MO 65801.
