Aneata Louise Alderson, 71, of Springfield, MO passed away on Saturday, January 12, 2019 after several years of courageously fighting heart and kidney failure. She was born on Thursday, October 16, 1947 in Couch, MO to George Leu and Louise Sandridge. Aneata's greatest passion was writing in her diary every day, starting when she was a freshman in high school. She kept track of all birthdays, anniversaries, deaths and events of interest of all her relatives, friends and their children. By re-reading her diary, she acquired a fantastic memory. Her friends would say when they were discussing something, if they did not remember it exactly, they would say, "we better ask Aneata". She enjoyed listening to her music and talking with her friends and relatives by phone. She was preceded in death by her parents. Aneata is survived by her husband of 48 years Larry Alderson, one son Russell, one sister Alvera Loyd (husband Walt), step-mother Margaret Leu, brother-in-law James Alderson (wife Linda), three Aunts Alice Johnson (husband Doyle), Secretha Leu and Nelma Blankenship and numerous, nieces, nephews, friends and family. A visitation will be held from 1-2pm on Friday, January 18, 2019 at the Klingner-Cope Family Funeral Home at White Chapel, 5234 W. State Hwy EE, Springfield, MO 65802 with Funeral services to follow at 2pm.
