Amy Barnes Bowman, 46, of Mt. Vernon, MO went home to be with the Lord on November 6, 2019. She was born on March 9, 1973, in Springfield, MO, to Gary Barnes and Susan Sisk.

Amy was a very loving, happy and caring person. She loved her family; her children, her fur babies and anything pop culture. Amy was an avid reader who was known to be able to read an entire book in just one evening. When she wasn't reading books she was listening to audio books.

She is preceded in death by her grandparents, a daughter; Peyton Jones and a step-brother James Clemens.

Left to remember her love are her parents; David and Susan Clemens and Gary and Carol Barnes, her loving husband Greg Bowman, children; Reagan, Jacob and Laken, grandchildren; Harper, Owen and Peter, brothers; Cary and Todd, step-brothers; Dave Clemens and David Hogue, step-sister Christy, niece Erin as well as a large extended family and countless friends. Amy will be greatly missed by all whose lives had been touched by her.

A visitation is scheduled for Wednesday, November 20, 2019 from 1-2 p.m in the Chapel of Klingner-Cope Family Funeral Home at White Chapel (5234 W State Hwy EE Springfield). A Celebration of Life Ceremony will follow at 2 p.m. Online condolences may be made at www.klingnerfuneralhomes.com
