Allen Maples, 57 of Springfield, MO passed away January 20, 2017 in his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born November 14, 1959 in St. Louis, MO to Richard A. and Helen Louise (Saltkill) Maples.

Allen loved his family dearly and fought a ferocious battle with cancer to stay with them as long as possible. He is survived by his wife, Betty of Springfield; Tim and Josie McFall, Tom and Lisa McFall, Dennis and Megan Maples, Tyler and Marissa McFall; 8 grandchildren; 1 great-granddaughter; brother, Dennis and Tracy Maples; sister, Bonnie Jean and a host of nieces, nephews and friends we consider family.

Preceding Allen in death were his parents; brothers, Rick and Bob Maples; sister, Brenda Griffith and a beloved nephew, Dustin Dodson.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, January 25, 2017 at 1:00 PM with services following at 2:00 PM in Klingner-Cope Family Funeral Home at White Chapel, 5234 W. State Hwy EE (west Division) Springfield, MO. Services will be officiated by Reverend Al Robertson.
