Alieda Duff, 79, of Springfield, MO passed away on Monday, July 29, 2013. She was born in Fort Wayne, IN on August 16, 1933 to Herman and Pauline Nahrwold.

Alieda was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister. She was employed by Ozark Public Schools as a secretary for many years. Her hobbies included playing the marimba, doing crossword puzzles and spending time with her family.

She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband James B. Duff.

Alieda is survived by her sisters Paula Luebke and husband Don of Fernandina Beach, FL; Joann Kontak and husband Jim of Phoenix, AZ and Diane Brenner and husband Dan of Fort Wayne, IN; daughter Linda Young and husband Zeke of Ozark, MO; sons Dr. James Duff and wife Carla of Springfield, MO, Dr. John Duff and wife Laurie of Rogersville, MO, David Duff and wife Renee of Ozark, MO, Steve Duff and wife Angie of Grove, OK and Dan Duff and wife Kim of Rogersville, MO; 33 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 31, 2013 at Trinity Lutheran Church 1415 South Holland Springfield, MO at 1:00 p.m. with services to follow at 2:00 p.m. Interment to be at Rivermonte Memorial Gardens.
