Alice Rose Newman, 81, of Springfield, MO, passed away on Friday, September 6, 2024.

Alice was born in Springfield, MO on Saturday, June 12, 1943. Alice was most proud of her work at the Springfield Workshop for many years. She enjoyed watching cartoons, coloring and listening to gospel music. Alice was always smiling. She was always so kind to everyone.

Alice is survived by her sister-n-law Linda Newman, several nephews and nieces, and many great nephews and great nieces.

Alice is preceded in death by her sister Eva Jane Newman, her parents Rubin and Vesta Newman, brother John Wayne Newman Sr., and sister Linda May Hayes Newman.

The graveside service will be held on Wednesday, September 18. 2024, at 9:00 am at Eastlawn Cemetery 2244 E. Pythian St. Springfield, MO 65802 with pastor John Newman Jr. officiating.
