Alan Lee Chapman, 62 of Colorado, was born on May 21, 1953 in Springfield to Einer and Meldetta Chapman. He passed away on July 24, 2015.

He married Karen in April 1972 and was an auto mechanic for 43 years. He enjoyed hunting, car racing, attending cowboy silhouette action shooting and was a boy scout leader for his son''s scout troop.

Preceding him in death were his parents and a daughter, Victoria.

Alan is survived by his wife, Karen; children, Carol and Adam; grandson, Perrin and a host of family and friends.

Graveside service will be held on Friday, July 31, 2015 at 2:00 pm in White Chapel Memorial Gardens, 5234 W. State Hwy EE, Springfield, MO, under the direction of Klingner-Cope Family Funeral Home.
